Anne Emmanuel Ibrahim, Nee Emmanuel popularly known as Anny hails by birth from Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State in Nigeria. Her award as the Best Gospel Artiste of the Year 2009 at the Appreciation of Women in Entertainment and Art in London was an auspicious and record-shattering entrant into the league of the A-list gospel artistes in Africa.
Anny, a Banking and Finance graduate of Kano State Polytechnic with a masters degree in Management from Bayero University, Kano is currently redefining gospel music in Nigeria and giving more life to it.
Her career started at a very tender age in the children’s choir in Kano. She graduated into the adult choir in no time due to her immeasurable talent and vocal delivery. She sang and performed around churches in Kano State courting so many fans and admirers. The performances acted as a catalyst to the starting of her career.
