Zara Ozay

Zara Ozay, whose real name is Ogie Ogbebor, is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter.
He’s signed to Mula Gang Ent and Unsub Ent.
He grew up in a social family, getting accustomed to music at a tender age. Naturally, this led
him down the path of music and entertainment. He spent most of his formative years
dancing and playing around with music. He used to rap back then in secondary school and
when he went to the University, he continued rapping, going for rap battles to showcase his
gift.
But it wasn’t until 2011 that Zara Ozay went to the studio and began to record songs. Even
though he started out as a rapper, he began to focus more on singing. He was inspired by
the Afrobeats scene and so he started singing. It helped his sound become smoother. In that
same year (2017), Zara Ozay released his first official single, titled Confam Benin Boy. It was
practically the start of his music career.
So far, Zara Ozay has released over 5 songs as an emerging artist. He continues to inch
closer to the mainstream with every song he releases. He refuses to keep himself in a box,
switching between different genres like dancehall and RnB. He is yearning to make a major
impact globally with his music. He wants to have a huge audience that recognises him for his
musical talent.
As he makes his way in the Nigerian music industry, Zara Ozay is excited to work with artists
and producers like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Sarz, Niphkeys. He is pumped to take his
music career to the next level. He is currently working on his debut project, a 5-track EP. He
is set to release a single that precedes the EP in a week or two. He is a big fan of Burna
Boy, Rick Ross, and Tuface.
