Counsellor David Udofot, known professionally as Tapper, is a
Nigerian singer and songwriter. Born in Kano state, and raised
in Kano/Borno Maiduguri, Nigeria.
he made his music debut as a member of the music group
Nicolet boy Nation which was later disbanded after releasing a
single in 2015.
Tapper started out as a member of a boy band called nicolet
boy nation in 2015 and was featured in the single they released
called "skelewa" after which they went their separate ways.
He proceeded to drop a single in 2017 titled "number one" and
was also featured in a song titled "Believe" by maxycool. He
took a hiatus in the year 2018 and came back to the scene with
a single titled "Hello" ft st mich. in 2019.
"my way" was released in 2020 and then an Ep shortly after
titled "Eclipse". After that he's being on a spree of dropping
singles which includes "Energy" "How E 4 be" "cruise" "family
man"
"water (freestyle) "work hard" "E get why" "Gbedu" ft
blackdaddy "move" in no alphabetical order. He has also be
featured by a lot of artists in a lot of body of work.
Tapper previously known as trizyfree is known to create his
own style of music which he refer to as Afrobeat / Afro fusion.
He refuses to be limited to a genre and always finds new
interesting ways and sounds to deliver his message at any time.
