Jët Bøy was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Jët Bøy is an Afro-pop, Afro-Swing, Afro-fusion singer and songwriter. He grew up in Benin City with his family, later relocating to Lagos (Lekki).
Career
His love for music started when he was still in school. According to him, he was never inspired by any artist but loved afrobeat's so much. Jët Bøy started writing music in junior secondary school in 2016. Then, he went with the stage name Gøldëñ Jët. Some of his classmates and friends love hearing him sing and rap while some didn't want to hear him sings, they disliked him. Later in church, he joined the choir and also started playing instruments like drum and talking drum. So, he stopped singing and took a break in music. However, Jët Bøy later picked interest in music again in 2019 while still in senior secondary.
In January 2019, Jët Bøy released his first song “A Rockstar's Love”. Later, he dropped his second song “You got me crazy”, which gave him some level of recognition on around his friends.
However, he stopped music due to some issues but later made a comeback to the music scene in 2022 with his return ep Olawale (The Return of Jët Bøy) which was loved and accepted by his little fan base
