Born in chawama constituency, Zambia as the fourth of nine children in a strict christian family; Solo began to play a guitor in 1978 made of shift tin cobra at the age of 8.
it was in 1993 when he got seriously into music, Solo first band to join was the X-Gerneration which later changed to Muvi posse under the Muvi studios sponsorship now known as Muvi Tv.
He recorded three albums as the band; The most wanted', 'Fumbi kobo' and 'Chizukulu Tuvi' , he backed most fellow zambian musicians both old and new generation, to mention a few; St. Micheal (Maiko Zulu), Chamanyazi, Sister D, Papa Kado, MC Wabwino, Danny Kaya, JK, Saga, Black Muntu etc The late Loveness Kumwenda was one of the artists he brought to light to have their own albums....more
