H3riQ (pronounced "He-rick") is a rising NeoSoulMakossa artist known for his unique blend of soulful melodies, jazz and R&B.
Born and raised in Deïdo (Douala, Cameroon), H3riQ developed a passion for music at an early age. His first steps as an artist were in rap music before he discovered his ability to sing. He trained as a sound engineer in order to improve the quality of his work and to be able to self-produce.
H3riQ's music is heavily influenced by neo soul, blues, R&B, funk, and pop music. His lyrics are often introspective, weaving together themes of love, relationships, and self-discovery with his soulful, emotive vocals.
