La Poré is the synth pop project of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Nick Samson. Performing many years in the Columbus, OH music scene, and also former drummer of Captain Kidd, the now Los Angeles based artist returns with the first of several 2020 singles, offering "Cheap Red Wine."
In a short period of time, La Poré has gained much notoriety, beginning with the second single, “Sad Girl," which reached #4 on Hype Machine’s top 50 popular list and made its way as a featured single on Kistuné Hotstream. Upon its release, the third single, “Missing It,” was included in Kitsuné Musique's collaboration with the NBA and featured on the 18 song compilation album, Kitsuné America 5: The NBA Edition. “Missing It” can also be heard in the Netflix original comedy, "The Perfect Date" and is included in the film’s official soundtrack." La Poré combines 80's synth/guitar inspired hooks, with lyrical elements pertaining to love, anxiety, and personal growth.
