BOYZEEN is a Hip Hop music performing artist who leans into the Afrobeat and Alté category.
Growing up in Cape Coast, Ghana, Aggrey Joseph as he’s formally known, nurtured his passion and love for music and the fashion culture associated with the genre of music.
After completing his elementary education at the Phillip Quaque Boys School, he furthered on to the King’s College, a high school in Kumasi where he developed his stagecraft and from where he’d begin his venture into the entertainment industry with the release of music videos and freestyle performances shared on social media, to the admiration of a burgeoning fanbase.
In 2019, he collaborated with Kweku Jallel of HardYouth on the Boys Quarters EP album.
As a solo artist between 2020 to 2022, BOYZEEN released music projects like Moonlight, Mpoano Vibes, Signs & Wonders, So Nor and Wada, with the Free Spirit EP being his latest presentation under the AJ Glory moniker, working with record producers KingAYP, Mirakilous, as well as the legendary Ssnowbeatz.
BOYZEEN attributes his style and inspiration to Skepta,Joey B,Stormzy,Kwesi Arthur and some others.
