Started in the depths of dive bar, The Arthouse, in inner city Melbourne, Australia, twelve years ago, The Resignators are Francis Harrison, Steve Douglas, Stacy Kilpatrick, Aidan Purdy, Jeremy Meaden, Richard Holland and Holly McNamara.
The Resignators began with the ambition of providing solid party driven Ska Punk and dance-able good times to all who have the good fortune to witness their rambunctious shows.
Often compared to their ska punk contemporaries, Less Than Jake, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Suicide Machines and the Pietasters, The Resignators have forged their own sound and told their own story.
The Resignators, with four studio albums, Time Decays, See You in Hell, Down in Flames and Party Dates as well as EPs including Offbeat Feeling and You’ve got me thinking, treat their fans not only to a fantastic live show but provide them, young and old, old and new, the ability to take The Resignators home with them on CD or Vinyl or download their music, often for free, to enjoy over and over.
Much has changed since 2005 but the drive and search of good times, great music and an audience willing to dance their arses off remains.
