To have an identity; yet to not identify with. Reify is the genre-bending musical brainchild of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Prakash Jha from Laguna Beach, California. Existing in a continual loop where meditative mantras become fuel for deeper exploration of the mind which then births truly channeled psychedelic rock music that in turn influences the vibe of more Reify music, Reify essentially personifies the spiral of a soul's existence and its manifested reification. Reify's music pushes the envelope on the understanding of the self and encourages its listeners to give themselves permission to transcend perceived limitations of musical genres; as all music is essentially sound.
Reify released its debut self-titled Alternative Rock EP in 2014. 2019 saw the release of Reify's first full-length album - Brahmand - with almost two hours of meditative Kundalini Yoga mantras including the never before composed Seven Wave Satnam mantra which quickly became a favorite of yogis worldwide. 2020 brought with it two more Reify albums - in the Spring, Antaryami brought mantras to the masses with its "eastern naad meets western vibe" compositions; and in the Fall, Reverie Eyes opened up new ways of looking at experimental psychedelic rock music.
Constantly growing and evolving, Reify is excited to share thoughts through words and music and strives to be a tool in its listeners' journeys towards individuation as multi-dimensional beings and discovery of their true selves....more
