Skidi Boy is an independent award winning Cameroonian Rapper, Singer-Songwriter and performing Artiste. Born and raised in Kumba, the south west region of Cameroon, his talent witnessed the surface of light among his friends and secondary school mates after he did a song for his dog that was murdered. Unknowingly to him, this was the beginning of what is today a full time career for him.
In the drive to leave a legacy, Skidi Boy has from 2016 brought forth back to back releases and with his song “Nanga Mboko” released in July 2017 being one of the most celebrated rap songs on Cameroonian streets till date. This song which has featured on Top40 across Anglophone and Francophone Africa and streamed close to 500.000 times on all digital platforms, also earned him an Urban Jamz Award in 2018.
