KVKA was born in Zambia, raised in the UK, got his musical start in New Zealand, and recently settled in Melbourne. At age 17, KVKA (Pron. Kuka — as in his birth name; Mukuka) turned heads with his debut track ‘WHO YOU’, which has racked up a solid 4 Million streams across all platforms to date. Despite being a name in the NZ scene and opening for acts like GZA (Wu-Tang Clan), Rejjie Snow, Wiki and Keith Ape—the now 23-year-old has relocated to Melbourne, where he’s been working on developing his sound and gaining a cult following online.
Recently, he appeared alongside Aussie spitters Nerve and Wombat on 16 Bars AUNZ gaining him many new fans and exciting old ones at the prospect of his return to the scene.
