Hassan Daramy professionally known as ceejay mark  is a singer songwriter, family oriented man,humanitarian, an activist and a  peace ambassador.
He started his music career at the early age of 12 . He was born and raised and went to  school in freetown Sierra leone  ..he came from an extended family .he's a twin and his biological twin partner is a female .His first musical group was Word up society a quatet group that was consisted of childhood friends who became  an household name is sierra leone musically .He  worked with legendary sierra leonean artists the likes of kman, kaodenerow and  slez of x project .he was part of the first uprising musical talented Jimmy B's paradise family group in the early 200s that inspired the the new generation of sierra leone music. He was part of the then conscious knowledge musical group with their very first hit song tittle Africa which was featured in BBC focus on Africa program to indicate the steps that sierra leone is taking towards development after the 9 years of  Civil conflict. He went solo and released his first studio  album tittled (NOR PWEL ME WAY)  in 2004 .the album is to-date among the best selling and most played album in the history of Sierra leone music ..in 2007 he released his second album which also made a very big impact .
After the release of his second album he Co-founded the most successful entertainment organization in sierra leone the ARTISTS FOR PEACE Sierra Leone .Artiste for peace is a humanitarian and peace advocate group dedicated to advocate and promotes peace and development during and after election in Sierra leone.
.He is the chairman of the Artists For Peace which is still in existence and relevant under his leadership .
He was awarded peace ambassador by UNDP after the 2007 and 2012  General Elections respectively for his leadership role in putting together an initiative that encourages artists to use their talent and influence for positive change in society ..
In 2012 He later work with Save The Children for five years  in sierra leone to promote the free health care initiative which was aimed at protecting and promoting the right of pregnant woman lactating mother and children under 5 .An initiative that was founded by  former president his excellency (Ernest Bai Koroma) .

In 2010 he was signed by (SKP) Sam Kargbo Production a label that was also working with  nigerian act like X project ,Style Plus , Waje, Azadus. He later moved to Lagos which earned him the privilege of working with nigerian producer like OJB ,Puffy Tee, Sunkey etc .
In 2016 he featured In a song with Mr Mayd which was produced by Philkeys .
Ceejay mark have four studio albums and have done ove a 100 recordings inclusive of peace developmental and campaign songs in all ..

A  multiple award winner  in sierra leone and abroad  for male vocalist. Best rnb ,humanitarian and contributions to sierra leonean music by United artists UK  respectively.
He was also awarded as artists of the decade few years ago by sierra leone DJs  union

He has performed in every town district and city in sierra leone and some major cities in Africa and Europe.

He's  currently working on the release of  his fifth studio album to be released soon
