UK-born DJ/producer Pluralist has been hunting down an arsenal of dancefloor sounds since 2018. The alias of Will Bowen has continued to lock off events alongside the likes of Djrum, Hodge, Benton, Eris Drew and Peach despite the quieter landscape of late, with his ear for weaving together classically underground threads always showing a deep appreciation for grassroots culture.
His ambition for diversity in his sets sees him tackle percussive atmospherics, syncopated beats and techno’s countless mutations. Will’s output from the studio also pursues the same mindset, with 2020 spawning several releases on underground labels Panel Audio, Control Freak Recordings, and Manuka Records. These saw him earn airplay on 1Xtra via Emerald, Giles Peterson’s Radio 6 show and Adidas’s Store Drops selections.
Beyond his production credits, he also co-runs popular imprint/party-series Shadow City and hosts his own residencies on Rinse France, Komrad and 1020 Radio, as well as guest spots on NTS, Balamii, and Rinse FM. ...more
