SHON Joel Nerat, better known as SHON Born 22nd August 2003 is an incredibly talented 19-year-old singer, songwriter, trapper, and rapper; as versatile as they come, he is originally from Jos Plateau state, born in Kano state Nigeria. He grew up with his grandmother who always complained that he disturbs the entire neighborhood with his music (she called it noise).
SHON started writing songs at age 11, he recorded his first song with his best friend Jace Kim (his first producer) on a song titled “MY LORD” sometime in 2017.
Growing up Shon was inspired by genres like trap, rap,r&b with a little spice of afrobeat. His music is inspired by artists like Khalid,6lack Alpha P and Rema. He doesn’t have a particular genre which his music Is classified under, but he describes his sound as an “Afro electro vibe”.
Shon is here to feed the FANTASISTS with dynamic sounds that’s why he is called the FANTASIZER. SHON is set to drop his debut EP under the label Positive World Ent. of which he is signed and he titles the EP ’’The Fantasizer’’ where he displays his soothing sound and impeccable delivery as he introduces his listeners to a world of unlimited fantasy, hence the title ''The Fantasizer''.
