    The Velvet Stripes es un proyecto formado por Leo Cid y Abu Barrett ambos productores de la cuidad de Puebla. Basándose en los sonidos del disco de 1970 con matices y elementos modernos, buscan regresar la esencia del disco a la actualidad. Su proyecto tiene dos versiones, Live Set & DJ Set en este último portando su máscara de bola disco 1 de sus integrantes. The funk call es su primer EP, su sencillo Rumba, Samba, Rambo entró durante 3 semanas consecutivas al top 100 de Nu disco, en las tiendas Traxsource y Beatport, así como en listas oficiales de ambas tiendas. Su EP cuenta con el support de Juan Soto, The funk district, Sould Out, Hotmood, C. da Afro, Djeko & K’you, entre otros....more
