Lecu is a UK based electronic and synthesiser musician living in Plymouth. His richly textural and cinematic work is sculpted by field recordings, hardware improvisation and digital sound design.
He self-released two improvised live albums and EPs in 2018 and 19, before signing to London based label Salmon Universe in 2020 with his record In Balance, where he explored a more structured and considered approach to producing. The record received glowing reviews from Bristol’s notable Wax Music, where it featured in their ‘Top 50 Records of 2020 so Far’; and was named in US magazine Music Connection’s ‘Top 25 New Music Critiques Of 2020’.
