British Rapper Luke Peters, or more formally known as Still Shadey, breaks downs barriers in forging his own lane in the UK Rap and Grime community, bringing us music for soul with a ‘spiritual’ essence.

With his ground breaking release ‘New Kingz’ surfing the net in 2017, Shadey made his statement that faith-inspired music can have its place in the Hip-hop scene.
The South Londoner went on to surface with huge BBC appearance in 2019, after thought-provoking documentary ‘Stabbed’ featured the artist and his life’s hardships growing up in Croydon. The reformed rapper’s brand has served for one as inspiration to the current and next generation - having him work alongside artist such as Wretch 32 and Big Narstie.

With a range of project releases, the versatility of the song writer is clear - covering elements across a range of musical genres, including Grime, Afro-Swing & Gospel. Shadey has been highlighted as #1 in Rapzilla’s ‘Ones 2 Watch’ List and nominated as Best New Artist at the Premier Awards, following his radio-breaking single “Walk With A Bop” prod. by KatManDu in 2018. “Like an Eagle” followed and pushed the trend of spiritual raps, breaking through to BBC Radio 1’s C list, and in addition to BBC 1xtra, Reprezent and Premier Radio.
