Marlon Percy

Singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist Marlon Percy could never have been anything other than a musician. The Londoner grew up playing keys, drums and guitar in a family of creatives, before getting into production aged 17. He then studied Music Production at Brighton Uni, where – via performing at practically every club in the city – he began to develop a unique blend of live keys and samples, while honing his mesmerising singing voice and thoughtful writing style. The result was a slick brand of electro-soul, all self-produced and featuring Marlon’s jazzy vocals and stirring lyricism, debuted on his independently released debut EP The Little Things in 2017. He’s since booked coveted slots at venues known for breaking major artists, including O2 Academy Islington, Notting Hill Arts Club, Cargo and the Bedford – all without the push of a label or team.

Marlon rides on sheer talent, with a dynamic live show reminiscent of James Blake or Chet Faker, a cutting-edge sound and intriguing visuals. Marlon’s last video (for “Pain I Feel”) was premiered by British GQ, and he’s received praise from the likes of Clash Magazine and Jazz Standard.
His music has been featured on Radio 1xtra, BBC Introducing, Apple’s Beats 1 Radio and by big-name DJs including Tiësto, as well as cult channels SBTV, The Vibe Guide and Dynmk
