Immersed in music since his childhood, Luiz Fernando Ribeiro, aka LuizFribs, expresses his deepest feelings through aggressive melodies, syncopated rhythms and heavy basslines, characteristics of the acid-driven and obscure Techno he produces and performs live, supported by his violin, an old mate who is present in his life since the early days. Having released in labels such as Reload (ESP), Black Square (BLR), Trau-ma (POR), Nin92wo (BRA) and Layer 909 (NLD), the Brazilian artist’s sound shows potential to be played from small clubs to huge warehouse raves and festivals.
His first releases came out in 2017, with the single “Renaissance” and the EP “Symptom”, both on Brazilian label Austro (electronic music arm of the great record company Som Livre). In 2018, LuizFribs was considered by the electronic music specialized website Play BPM one of the new highlights of the Brazilian Midwest Techno scene. Counting on a regular releases calendar (between EPs, singles and remixes) and a frequent presence on the line-up of Techno events in his hometown, such as Lost and Found and Shadow, the artist is always working on new authorial stuff and improving his live performance, consequently promising a promissory future as his career has been until now....more
