Nino Man

Louis Abney also known as “Nino Man” was born in Harlem, NY. At the age of eleven, Nino fell in love with hip hop. Listening to rap icons such as Fabolous, Jadakiss and Eminem inspired Nino, allowing him to envision himself as a “Hip Hop Legend”. Although he had great aspirations, aspirations just weren’t enough.


Being raised in poverty and considered a product of his environment, Nino found himself on the opposite side of the Law, and at age eighteen he was sentenced to two years behind bars. As if prison wasn’t enough, he faced the hardest obstacle a young teenage boy could imagine. While incarcerated, Nino lost his mother to cancer, and was not granted the opportunity to lay her to rest. Hurting inside because of the poor choices he made as an adolescent, Nino Man made a commitment to turn his life around.


After serving his time, Nino gained custodial privileges to raise his three younger brothers, and began pursuing his dream of becoming a rapper while raising 3 young men.


With dedication and focus Nino Man continued to make music using his life as an example which made him hungry for success. With D-Block’s own Jadakiss cosigning his music, he was the perfect predicament to attack the music industry.
