Killo Torres formed Banda San Miguel in 1985, releasing their debut album in 1986. Their success allowed them to get a record deal with a local label in 1989. Soon they were climbing Mexican charts with "La Vaquilla Colorada" and "Tus Desprecios," and became a chart-topper in 1990 with a song called "Disco Rayado."
