Deedrah
Subsequent years would find Dado working under a variety of aliases, including Cypher, DanDan d Dado, and Synthetic. Future projects include collaborations with trance legends Tsuyoshi Suzuki (Tokio Drome), Astral Projection (Trust in Trance), Sid Shanti (Manumission), Avi Algranati (Space Cats), Total Eclipse, and Jaia. DJ gigs took Deedrah around the globe to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tokyo, Copenhagen, London, Tel Aviv, Montreal, Melbourne, Sydney, Athens, Sao Paulo, Moscow, and Bali. At the end of 2000, Deedrah set up a new recording studio in the Spanish countryside town of Ibiza, where he produced house and lounge music under the moniker Fédérico Baltimore and for labels like Cosmophilia, TIP WORLD, and 3D Vision. Deedrah's second album, the opus Reload, was released in 2001. The pleasurable, melodic set explores a range of hypnotic trance sounds with only hints of the psychedelica of previous Dado albums, falling somewhere in between John Digweed or Paul Van Dyk. ~ JT Griffith, Rovi...more
