D. Green

Hip-hop artist and songwriter D. Green, was born and raised in the South Bronx section of New York City. Growing up in a very trying environment, he gravitated towards music and saw it as a way to escape the harsh reality he was born into. Influenced by other artists from NYC like Jay-Z and Jadakiss, who overcame adversity and found success in the music industry, D. Green worked on his craft daily in an effort to utilize his skills to beat the odds and find his own success with his music.

D. Green has put together several solid EP throughout his career. His most played and talked-about release to date, "My Name is D. Green" showcases his conversational rapping style, which combines witty lyrics, catchy hooks and uptempo production with a level of authenticity he strives to maintain as he continue to grow and mature as an artist. His For The F.E.W. (FansEverWhere) series, was the foundation for his artistry. These very personal and introspective EPs help create and establish his core growing fanbase though a word-of-mouth approach, designed for anyone who truly wanted get to know the man behind the music.

His talent and determination to carve out a space of his own in hip-hip has secured him plenty of performances on both the east and west coast, which included opportunities to open up for major artists such as J. Cole and lead to collaborations with legendary DJ, DJ Green Lantern, Skyzoo, Emilio Rojas and other talented artists.
