Peter Gbenga Bamidele (born November 6, 1995), professionally known as Drock, also known as Vagabond was born into a Christian family and grew up to be active in the choir where he developed his music skills and also learnt how to beat drum kits.
He graduated at Olabisi onabanjo university in 2017, where he was an active member and leader of the church fellowship choir groups. He is a good vocalist and does freestyle backups with some tones of fuji voices.
Drock finally picked up his music career in 2021 and started writing songs after being inspired by his friend, an artist and producer, HollympahX. Drock gets inspiration from the likes of Roddy Ricch, Post Malone, Davido, Naira Marley, Barry Jhay, Dablixx Osha and many more.
He released his first song, an extended playlist (EP) containing 6 tracks, on May 5, 2022, titled Dice Roll. And is working on many other songs.
Drock is an Afrobeat singer whose songs have been described as alternative Trap with elements of Afro, R&B, rap, and highlife.
His lyrics are described as “awakening”, and his songs often revolve around themes of trust, loyalty, emo, reality, and wake up rather than more of love....more
