Bert Knox

Bert Knox, born Halembert Caicedo, is a Brooklyn-bred recording artist with a transparent style that offers a nuanced approach to traditional rap. His debut eight-song EP titled “Self Sabotage” takes his audience through his personal journey and struggles with self-love, emotional instability, and entrance into adulthood. The project came into fruition in the summer of 2017 as Knox prepared for his final year at Hofstra University, where he studied marketing and public relations. Furthering his interest in creative writing that spans all the way back to middle school, Knox, backed by his closest friends, challenged himself by entering the realm of songwriting. With hopes that this first EP has now established a recognizable sound, Knox anticipates his growth as both an artist and a creative to reflect in future projects
