A deep understanding of hip-hop, rap culture and electronic music has led ANGELZ to a string of successes and accolades, including “Hey Girl”, the first official release from Tchami’s Confession imprint, the cult ‘Saint Thug’ EP series, the festival staple “Devils”, the forward thinking “Love Language” (in collaboration with Tchami) & an impressive return to his roots with the urban hit “Never Enuff”.
The Quebecois (residing in Los Angeles), now a familiar face on US festivals & club circuit after his first North American tour & headlining infamous venues like Avalon Hollywood, has also broken into the Australian & New Zealand market with his third tour down under in December 2018.
2019 was a key year for ANGELZ as he joined the Dirtybird family with 'You Know', put out the high powered Spinnin Records single “Heat” and expanded his label resume with a buzzing remix of Matroda's 'Bang (featuring Dances With White Girls)' on Dim Mak which was quickly followed up by 'No Radio' a solo club track on Dr Fresch's new The Prescription Records imprint. Summer was then wrapped up with 'FLEX (featuring Chetta)' a techy-but-heavy-house hybrid in collaboration with BIJOU. Never one to slow down, ANGELZ continued his hot streak with 'Gun Finger' a forward thinking modular house song & finally wrapped up the year with 'Sacrosanct' an EP on Confession which in only one week took the #1 spot on Beatport's Top 100 Bass House releases chart....more
