Adastra
He eventually decided to take on the name Adastra, Latin for "To the Stars". Since then, his style has developed into something typically characterized by a spacey feel, exploring his statement, "music that will take you to the stars.”
In music production, Adastra takes inspiration from artists like Skrillex, Seven Lions, Deadmau5, and Porter Robinson, and even Max Martin. His original music has garnered features on several blogs, YouTube channels, and smaller music collectives/labels.
Adastra broke into the club scene in 2017. From Foundation Nightclub to STAGE's Bass Therapy, and even the Gorge Ampitheater, Adastra has been seen playing in some of the best venues across Seattle. His sets are an electrifying mix of melodic bass, electro house, future bass, trap, usually mashing in pop and hip hop classics that you'd least expect.
Adastra also co-founded UW's first Electronic Music Producers club and has helped it grow to a community of over 30 members.
Expect great things from Adastra in the years to come as he continues to reach for the stars.
