Merger

Formed from the abyss of corporate America in 2019, Merger is a New Orleans DJ duo that features electronic dance music producers, P-TAB (Paul Tabary) and Qore (David Moolekamp). With previous successful releases as both solo artists and ghost producers (Trap City; BredNButter; Black Hole Recordings; Game Room Records and more), the two were connected through mutual artist friends and instantly bonded over their identical lifestyles of rat racing their days away in finance/accounting while simultaneously maintaining double-lives moonlighting as producers/DJs. Almost immediately after meeting, the duo began creating identifiably distinct music together that flawlessly merges the underground and mainstream worlds of house music through a seamless blend of their unmistakable individual sounds (P-TAB’s hip-hop/trap/house and Qore’s dubstep/metal) and New Orleans flavor. As a result of their “Merger”, the duo has formulated a unique and harmonious sound that spans broad musical facets and that results in bringing diverse musical tastes together onto the dance floor.
