From day one, the philosophy of Guy From Downstairs (aka. Victor Ernuteanu) regarding the sound of the electronic underground music has always been revolving around clear and simple ideas: staying fresh, adding a personal touch to the culture and undeniably rocking the dance floor.
Residing next to the major underground clubs from the hometown of Bucharest and around Romania, Victor has been also showcasing his moves and grooves since 2010 in events across Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Holland, UK, and the US.
Some notable moments of 2017 found Victor performing his DJ act throughout Europe, including Berlin top spots such as Chalet, Club der Visionaere, and Kater Blau. He also played along side Hector's Vatos Locos collective with shows at OFF Sonar in Barcelona, and ADE in Amsterdam.
As a record label, "GFD" became a funky home for collaborations in 2017, showcasing a partnership with Desolat's Guti, for the "Guti From Downstairs" EP, followed by a double-vinyl back to back compilation together with artists such as Floog (Premiesku), Faster, Dubsons, Morgan, and Coriesu....more
