Nessa Preppy

Nessa Preppy is a German-born, Trini-grown songwriter/vocalist/performer who has been making quite a name for herself in the Caribbean music circuit. The risque and alluring sensation’s interaction with Caribbean culture began at age 5 when she left Germany. Along with her German father, Trinidadian mother and siblings Nessa began a new life in Arima, Trinidad.


Fast-forward to 2018, Nessa became a household name. The attention she received was in direct response to her hit single “Tingo.” It was during this year that Nessa confidently began blossoming.


In 2019, Nessa’s hit single “Issa Snack” quickly became a coined catchphrase for both men and women throughout the diaspora. Many were seen and heard describing themselves as “snacks” or being referenced to them. Simply put, the term was linked to appeal; sexiness and attitude. Followed by a remix which featured Soca heavyweight Machel Montano and International sensation Hood Celebrity, Nessa began enjoying numerous opportunities to tour the Caribbean, USA and Europe.


When 2020 came around, her songs “Splash” with Patrice Roberts and “Dollars” with Prince Swanny and London Future along with other contributions presented amazing opportunities. With all the time and dedication that Preppy has been investing in her craft, it is safe to say that she is on her way to achieving all her musical pursuits, as she continues to work on evolving her sound.
