Jide, popularly known as Jalo recalls his early experience as a songster in 2016 – motivated by his college roommate who believed so much in his skills, he gave a shot at it and the story he testifies has never been the same ever since.
He is from an exclusive family of 3, his dad, mom and just him. This made him self-sufficient, experimental and intentional with his craft as he sojourned to earn a degree at the Northern Illinois University, Chicago.
Jalo made his debut with a single track titled ‘‘No Time’’ in 2021. A song in which he took the pleasure to express himself as ‘The Storyteller.’ On ‘No Time,’ Jalo talks about life in survival mode where one needs to careful and beware of association. He premiered the video alongside the audio produced by one international producer of 6ix9ine’s track, Yaya.
Following the success of his first ever track, Jalo has been working to prepare himself for collaboration opportunities and more possibilities to explore in the industry....more
