Music for the 4am people.
iklektrik are Belfast duo Ryan Curry and Isaac Gibson. Both came from the opposite ends of the musical spectrum. Ryan spent his early career as a DJ in venues throughout Ireland and Ibiza. Isaac is a classically trained pianist with a background in music production. A chance meeting in 2014 and a mutual love for House and Techno music provided the basis for a musical venture.
While being known for putting their own unique tech twist on some of the latest and classic house anthems, their biggest success so far has come by way of their "uni'k Radio" podcast which has already developed a cult following and recognised for featuring a diverse tracklist of house and techno music while teaming up with international guest artists.
On the 22nd October 2016, iklektrik won the 20th Edition of Amsterdam Dance Event's Demolition Panel hosted by Dave Clarke with their House track 'Dusk'. The judging panel included Eats Everything, Marcel Fengler, Kölsch and Don Diablo.
iklektrik signed to the Godfather of House, Marshall Jefferson's Freakin 909/303 label in 2017 with the EP release "Dusk Till Dawn"
Since then they have released on Media Records in Italy with their rework of East Side Beats - Ride Like The Wind & on Millennial Records with Labelle's Patti....more
