This Sydney based Alternative Pop duo blur the lines between music for the heart and music for the dancefloor. With a mixture of delicate and dirty synths, roaring bass sounds and spitfire vocal performances, Maari deliver tracks that are sharp yet vulnerable. Sporting comparisons to artists like; Julia Michaels, Alessia Cara, The ChainSmokers and all things Disney, the duo have been dubbed ‘Paramore and Flume’s Lovechild.’
The duo craft all of their tunes in their humble Inner West studio and currently Mix and Master with Simon Cohen (Justin Bieber, Vera Blue, Glades) and Ben Feggans (Flume, Hayden James, Miami Horror). They’ve shared the stage with the likes of North East Party House, Wafia, E^st and Lamalo, and have been featured at Sydney Fringe Festival’s Clipped.TV event, Parramatta Lanes Festival and on MTV’s program ‘MTV Upload.’
