Toofan

Toofan is a music group from Togo founded in 2005. The group is made up of two members: Barabas and Masta Just. Many of Toofan songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

Career
The group is also known for, the "gweta", which appeared in 2013 and whose gesture aims to "dodge the jealous". Gwetta is a collective creation between Toofan and the group Tach Noir.Being three at the beginning of their career, they now form a duo made up of Masta Just and Barabas, the third, Allone, having emigrated to Europe where he continues his musical career. hey are the authors of the Ogbragada concept which is a musical mixture of Hip-hop and African rhythms in general and Togolese in particular . Toofan export their music beyond West Africa: in the 2010s they gave concerts in France , Germany , United States of America and Belgium.

Achievement
The group Toofan was awarded as best African pop artist and best African group at the All Africa Music Awards 2017 , then as best African group and best French-speaking artist at the All Africa Music Awards 2018.
