Whitehead began his career as an engineer at London's prestigious Mi7 Studios (home to Z Dot, Donae'O and Levi Lennox), where he soon began working on his own self-produced material during studio down-time. Following a string of successful initial single releases, Whitehead announced the completion of his debut EP 'Combray' in early 2019. The EP's first single 'Cairo' was released in June 2019 to critical praise from Sounds Magazine and Muzikalia, as well as airtime on BBC Introducing.
