Tommy Evans

Hailing from a family of artists, innovation, imagination and industry are embedded in Tommy Evans' DNA. As a pioneering UK hip hop musician, Tommy has appeared on over forty releases; collaborated with multi-platinum and underground artists alike including Neneh Cherry, Martina Topley-Bird, Stereo MCs, Nightmares On Wax, Andreya Triana, Foreign Beggars and Doc Brown to name a few. Tommy's music has been playlisted on Radio 1 and featured on MTV, Soccer AM, Inbetweeners and Kidulthood. Tommy has also performed with De La Soul, Common and Corinne Bailey-Rae as well as the godfather of hip hop, DJ Kool Herc. Tommy can even count Rio Ferdinand and Kylie as fans and has had his voice sampled by the late, great J Dilla!

More recently, Tommy Evans has made a name for himself as a published writer, spoken word artist and filmaker, earning a PhD in the process! Tommy has shelled down numerous stages including indigo at The O2, The Jazz Café, Apple (Regent Street flagship store), Black Lily (Philadelphia, USA) and Elysses Montmarte (Paris) as well as exhibiting at the Royal Festival Hall and lecturing at Cambridge University!
