Dxn Creq

Davante Malik Creque (Born September 9th, 1996) better known by his stage name Dxn Creq, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and engineer From Long island, NY. His parents moved him and his brother and sister to Raleigh, NC at the age of 8. He found a passion and love for music at the age of 13, he started recording himself on the software mix craft, and soon started dropping music through sound cloud under the stage name Creque. He started to build quite a buzz in high school, so much so that he gathered the attention of other artist in the area and built a small name for himself. Some of his earlier influence's consist of artist such as Drake, Travis Scott, Eminem, Nipsey Hussle, Lil wayne, and Jcole. By the age of 18 he developed a serious drug problem, that caused a lot of tension between his family, and friends. From being sent in out of jail, to being on probation, and then in summer 2017 being sent to prison for 4months. It was then he realized he had to cut the bullshit out and figure out what he was going to do with his life. When he got out that following winter, he linked up with his close friend from high school Darius Brown, and together they created the record label, Nice Records. With his debut album Better Late than never, Released August 16th, 2019. You could tell through his music that this young man was going to be someone special.
