Green Tangerines, combine the rawness of 70's Jazz Fusion with the Nu Jazz scene of today to create a blend of authentic New Fusion. Hailing from Liverpool, they have been cutting their teeth in "Liverpool’s new jazz progression – a scene fuelled by innovation and social commentary" (Getintothis). Recalling a previous era but striving for the future in their sonic explorations, this is an all encompassing band committed to giving all listeners an experience they won't forget.
Comprised of a stellar group of musicians – saxophonist and vocalist Sarah Sands, trumpet player Sam Taylor, guitarist Jack O’Hanlon, bassist Fran Mills and drummer, Tom Hudson – the band consistently displays an applauded mastery of their respective crafts by lending together these talents in a sound distinctively their own.
