Jack The Underdog

Fueled by a passion for social justice, emerging artist Jack The Underdog renders his perspectives in song with unapologetic honesty. Pulling inspiration from pop, R&B, and hip-hop, Jack has described his genre-defying music as “R&P” (rhythm & pop). Offering a sound that is fresh, unique, and compelling, Jack’s artistry is guaranteed to evoke enthusiasm across a diverse array of audiences.


Influenced by rock and punk music in his younger years, Jack Ohmes (known professionally as Jack The Underdog) began writing songs at age 12. It was just a few years later that he formed a band with his high school peers called Painting Stars. A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jack’s music eventually led him to Nashville where his band had the opportunity to open for pop punk group The Story So Far. It wasn’t until 2016 that Jack embarked on his solo career.


Over the years, Jack has demonstrated a firm commitment to using his powers for good. Inspired by his mother’s battle with cancer, Jack donated all of the proceeds generated by one of his songs to Gilda’s Club, a support community for those living with cancer. His story and song have garnered national recognition and continue to benefit the organization to this day.


After releasing new music under the electronic label Kontor Records in 2019, Jack The Underdog continues his ascent in the pop, dance, and alternative markets. His progressive attitude and hard-hitting lyrics will undoubtedly catapult him all the way to the top.
