On a spring day in the middle of rainy season, Nigeria saw a new star come into this world.
CCSO entered as second to the last child of a big loving family where the father was a recognized DJ and the grandmother a well-known solo singer. With this heritage his path was set. As a 5-year old boy he ran around the neighborhood singing to anyone who would listen. That was followed up by Dolly Parton, Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel. When he hit his teenage years he started playing keyboard in the local church band. He later left the village and moved to Lagos, where he continued his musical work in a catholic church as a keyboardist and singer. Together with some friends and church members he started a band. From being the very best tenor in that church at the time, he had no problem getting his band into work. They started playing covers in wedding ceremonies, words spread very quickly....more
