Out There is the creative outlet of Sam Perlow, an LA-born music producer, songwriter & DJ with a love for music that sparked during childhood when his mom started making him CD mixtapes filled with every style of music she could think of. His mission is to create music that pushes boundaries – treating each song as an opportunity to take his listeners to a new world, each with its own unique sonic landscape.
Sam embarked on his musical journey at a young age, when he began playing the piano. Years later he attended and graduated from Scratch Academy, where he learned how to DJ, and got his feet wet in the world of music production. While studying in the Music Industry Program at Drexel University, he began experimenting with every facet of music, from writing and recording to mixing and mastering. After moving swiftly through the program, he transferred to the Berklee College of Music where he is continuing his education from afar as he remains in LA making music.
Now, nearly five years since the onset of this journey, he is ready to share his work with the world. Out There is on track to roll out a ton of new music in 2018 and is ready to make a serious name for himself in both the pop and electronic scenes....more
