After his debut at Electric Daisy Carnival in 2012 as one of the first winners of the Insomniac Events Discovery Project, Dr. Apollo spent the next six years developing his production and DJ skills as Olymp.us. Performing at venues and festivals all over in Los Angeles, Miami, Vegas, Paris, London, Rome, Ibiza, etc.
Being a classically trained musician and having guidance from mentors like AR Rahman, Quincy Jones, and Drumma Boy, it allowed him to develop mixing and production techniques that had never been done before based on the “Acusonic Recording Process” and the Fibonacci Sequence.
In January of 2019, the Dr. Apollo project took a life of its own after his first release (“Red” with Dip Vertigo) on the legendary Hospital Records on their annual “Sick Music” compilation. He then started collaborating with another DnB icon “Reid Speed” on tracks like “Electrotherapy feat. Evil Dom” and “Gaia” as well as his debut EP “Antivirus” on Play Me Records. This led to Billie Eilish giving him and Dip Vertigo the official DnB remix of her #1 hit single “Bad Guy” which released on Bassrush. Dr. Apollo is also part of the production duo “Follow The Sun” with MC Dino.
