WAIT! WHAT? (real name: Wiebke Zeise) is a talented artist and musician born in Munich in 1993. At the age of 11, she moved with her family to North Rhine-Westphalia and began developing her musical skills. She learned to play the saxophone at a young age and later taught herself to play the guitar.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Wiebke also works as a photographer under the name "Amelie Munic." Her photography style is referred to as "Dark Art" and primarily focuses on portraiture. Along with photography, she also works as a videographer and model.
WAIT! WHAT? describes her music as "No Freaking Idea" and draws influences from Indie/Rock, the 80s, Post-Punk, and New Wave. Her music is a personal expression of her feelings and experiences, inspired by moments in life that have taken unexpected turns.
In August 2020, WAIT! WHAT? released her first album "HAHAHA NOPE," a collection of 10 tracks in the Rock, Synth-Pop, and New Wave genres. The album was played on radios in Germany and the UK for the first time in 2021. In August 2022, she released her second album "THANK YOU FOR HURTING ME," featuring 11 tracks in the Synth-Pop genre.
