Skaz One is one of the hottest talents in the Bay Area rap scene and has been for some time. He has released 6 solo projects over the course of an 11 year career as well as many mixtapes and singles.
Skaz One comes from San Francisco and grew up there until he was put out on his own at 15 years old. He then lived all across the country for a number of years and a number of reasons. While being away from home, Skaz One began rapping at 16 years old, though it would be another 3 years before he would see a recording studio booth.
With the release of his first full length album in 2009, Skaz One’s career had officially begun. Since then he has released many projects and has had extensive live performing experience. Doing over 500 solo shows all booked and planned mostly by Skaz One himself, it is much more experience with live performing than the majority of unsigned talent. Skaz One runs everything independently and often himself. His social media promotion and consulting is done by himself as well as the set up of his distribution network.
He has worked with a long list of well known industry talent. Skaz One’s lyrical prowess surpasses that of many emcees and coupled with his eclectic style of beat selection, Skaz One sounds different from any artist out there.
