Matilda is a self-produced musician based in the South-West of England in Torquay.
Beginning her musical experience from the age of 13, Matilda has a soulful voice and a timeless approach to songwriting that she combines through producing her original tracks bringing a modern pop twist to her favourite genres, Jazz, neo- Soul & hip-pop. Matilda has now released her debut EP 'Allotment' containing 4 original songs and her newest single 'Time is a healer' in April 2020.
After moving to London to pursue her music career at Goldsmiths University in London in 2019, Matilda in January 2020 performed on Carnaby Street in the size? supporting Joy Crookes in partnership with Nike. Recording her latest single at Church Hill Road studios allowed Matilda to expand further on her sound, capturing her singer-songwriter roots with an old skool 808 hip-pop beat.
