An experimental uk rap artist with a unique style refreshing content & catchy hooks!
He began his journey over 10 years ago now when he joined grime collective Lyrics Rhymes & Grime (LRG) a crew formulated in Nottingham by uk veteran Wariko’ it also consisted of Notts legend Jah Digga someone who 2tone would go on to collaborate & create with on many more occasions after the crew went there separate ways. He/they had local success with songs such as (Crepes) & no not the pancakes the street slang for trainers’ (Roots) & (Is It Good 2 You) to name just a few which also seen them perform at some of the most prestigious events at the time so here’s another name drop’ The Uk Takeover’ Radio 1s Big weekend & even Glastonbury where they brought a vibe to the BBC introducing stage’ whilst also doing a mini tour of Germany!
During this time 2tone also represented Notts on a domestic violence charity single titled
(Man Enough) which featured two uk pioneers at the time in Scorcher & Klashnikov. After some what of a break due to life & personal circumstances 2tone is now back with a renewed vigour & singles from the past year like (Duffle) & (Pretty Little Thing). Now currently wrapping up his his 3rd but 1st official studio album
(BLACK & WHITE) which is set to be released on the 20/09/20 it’s safe to say we have something quite unique to look forward to!...more
