U.K. born, Canadian raised Rochelle Jordan is a pivotal figure in the future sound of R&B/POP/Dance, producing brash and buoyant anthems. The British Jamaican is known for her innovative yet throwback-inspired, uncommon melody, lyrics, production, and vocals. In 2010, Rochelle began uploading herself singing classic R&B songs on youtube which led her to producer Klash. In 2011, their online sessions produced a song called "How To Feel" Shortly after, she released her first Project Titled "ROJO" (2011) then the follow-up record "PRESSURE" (2012). "PRESSURE" introduced the world to a new R&B sound during the “R&B is dead” era. Standout songs "Shotgun" and "Losing" catapulted her into being an indie R&B favorite. Rochelle was tour support for Jessie Ware in 2013. Childish Gambino tapped her to write for him on his 2014 Grammy Nominated album "Because The Internet". The song was called Telegraph Ave (feat Lloyd). In 2014 she released another mixtape titled "KILLAH". Her official debut album "1021" arrived shortly after.
