Normanton Street

Normanton Street are a Brighton-based band made up of three members; Ned, Nicholson & Phoebe. The two boys of the band, who play guitar/bass as well as contributing vocals, have been close friends since childhood; having grown up on the same street in Bradford. Growing up with music as the binding thread to their longstanding friendship, Ned and Nicholson eventually moved to Brighton together and began jamming at local bars; eventually meeting lead vocalist Phoebe after a gig at The Mesmerist bar. The trio started jamming together on a regular basis, but it wasn't until they put together a particularly striking Lauryn Hill cover that they soon realised their musical chemistry couldn’t be limited to just one song.
