Rebecca Hernandez also known as Rebekah Renatus, began to write songs as a teenager using a guitar. Her style is influenced by an eclectic mix of Jazz, Folk, Hip-hop, traditional Hymns and Gospel. She started playing and singing her original songs on the streets in South Carolina and the San Francisco. This eventually lead to her involvement in local open mic nights and solo shows. In 2008 She performed as a part of a Stockton based hip-hop and funk band who performed regularly in the Central Valley, Bay Area and LA. A short time later she had a radical conversion to Christ, quit the band and began serving in music Ministry at REACH Worship Center of Stockton, CA (2009) where she later lead worship until moving to Manteca, Ca. in 2019. She has featured on a compilation recording The New Life Project (2011), and later recorded solo albums Moving Forward (2013) and ReIdentified (2015)....more
